James Webb Space Telescope Reveal Party Coshocton

We thought we’d bring people together to experience the wonder of the first James Webb Space Telescope images projected big on our artPARK wall. It’s happening three days after NASA’s online reveal but this is a local, in-person party with an art twist.

Here’s what the schedule looks like —

8:00p – Make a universe shirt with Arty Bots, black light sensitive materials and your own t-shirt

8:45p – Universe watercolor painting demonstration by artist Carole Hunt

9:15p – A little bit of background about the JWST presented by Robbie Kehl

9:30p – James Webb Telescope Image Reveal, Black Light Party, respond to the James Webb images by creating your own watercolor with the help of Carole Hunt

Things you need to bring
1. If you went to Camp Invention this summer, bring your Arty Bot to share.
2. Wear a dark t-shirt that will disappear under black light
3. A sense of wonder and your creative self
