    5K Urban Art Walk

    Saturday May 3, 2-5pm as part of Dogwood Festival 2014 The 29th annual Dogwood Festival celebrates the richness and diversity of the Coshocton County visual arts scene with a new 5K Urban Art Walk event. Ā The Walk will wend a way through downtown Coshocton, across the three rivers, to Roscoe Village with stops at six arts venues. From 2-5pm Saturday, May 3, a selection of food will be served at each stop to keep walkers (or drivers as the case may be) energized.     We invite the community to come view Tim Frank’s work and talkĀ with this accomplished designer/site specific artist @ the opening party ofĀ  RETURNING TO FIRST PRINCIPLES an exhibit of design drawings and models FRIDAY March 21 | 5:30-7pm The exhibit runs through April 26Ā in conjunction with the artPARK design project.     opening party FRIDAY FEB. 21 | 5:30-7pm with artist Julian Dassai the exhibit runs through March 16 also showing: Andy Scott BANNED TO OBSCURITY This one room exhibit features 5 originalĀ ink drawings featured inĀ Ā (614) Magazine‘s illustrated interview cartoon, THE COLUMBUSONIAN. The drawings will hangĀ alongside their matching full-color print pages. Ā The exhibition coincides with ourĀ cartooning workshop LITTLE SOCIAL HISTORIES led by the artist. Julian Dassai is a cartoonist, illustrator, and musician who was raised in Athens, Greece. He currently writes and draws The Columbusonian, an interview comic featured in 614 Magazine, a local Columbus, Ohio publication.
